From now on you have the possibility to pre-order standard shelves in different designs in our online store. With the help of our new configurator, you will be able to create your own furniture with the right proportions, your desired color and your own requirements from November 2021. The variations are limitless!

The SYSTEM 01 is a real quick-change artist!

During product development, the focus was particularly on making the assembly of the system furniture as simple as possible. This process is made possible by prefabricated connecting elements that can be connected with chrome-plated tubes. These two components - tubes and connecting elements - form the SYSTEM 01 frame. The matching SYSTEM 01 tool allows you to easily convert and modify the tubes and connecting elements of the SYSTEM 01 Collection in a single step. You can complement your SYSTEM 01 individually with shelves or hinged metal doors. Intermediate shelves and pull-out shelves optimize the storage space and are available as a further selection. In addition, you can freely design your SYSTEM 01 combination in terms of color. For this purpose, a large selection of colors is available in our store. We recommend our exclusive trend colors from our LINE colors special collection. Of course, a color mix of two or more colors is also possible. You can be creative with the design options. From the classic office shelf for your files and documents, to a sideboard in your hallway, or a TV lowboard in your living room.

The history of the SYSTEM 01 Collection

Michael Johner joined Swissmobilia as CEO about 5 years ago. Born in Fribourg, he was able to gain experience in management, branding and operations after studying banking and private equity. Due to his passion for the furniture industry and love for beautiful and aesthetic products, it was clear to him relatively quickly that he wanted to gain a foothold in this industry. In developing SYSTEM 01, Michael Johner and his team were keen to offer high-quality furniture with an elegant but timeless design that is adaptable and makes everyday life easier. At the same time, the environment and origin of the materials always play an overriding role.

How and when did the Swissmobilia SYSTEM 01 come into being?

The idea for SYSTEM 01 came about when we were researching the market for modular furniture systems for office and home use. The development process with our product design team began circa 2019, when we discussed various ideas that unified the key points of our product development guidelines. At the end of the process, we came up with a product design that focuses on modularity, aesthetics and timeless design, as well as sustainability.

What is the vision of Swissmobilia and does the Swissmobilia SYSTEM 01 reflect this vision?

Swissmobilia is your partner for modular and high quality products in office and home. From the very beginning, we have established a strict product development guideline in which we have set out the minimum requirements for products to be a Swissmobilia product. Every new product we develop internally must fit into the Swissmobilia product portfolio without compromises. SYSTEM 01 fits perfectly with this product development guideline, as we wanted to have a product with timeless design, high quality and focus on sustainability.
